De Graafschap has recently signed Mark Pabai on a free transfer. The 25-year-old right-back has signed a contract for two seasons, with an option for a third year. Technical manager Berry Powel is excited about the new addition and believes that Pabai will be valuable to the team both defensively and offensively. Pabai has the physical qualities to cover the right flank and has gained significant experience, including at the European level, having played in the qualifying rounds of the UEFA Conference League last season. Pabai is a Liberian international who started his career in the youth academy of FC Utrecht. He then played for Jong FC Utrecht in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie before moving to the Eredivisie with PEC Zwolle. His career also includes stints in Italy with SPAL and in Slovenia with Tabor Sežana and FC Koper. He has played a total of nine matches in the Eredivisie, providing two assists. In the Keuken Kampioen Divisie, he has made 60 appearances, scoring three goals and providing two assists. De Graafschap is pleased with Pabai's arrival and wishes him great success in his new role.
