De Graafschap has strengthened its squad with 22-year-old forward Ted Rooijendijk for the upcoming season. Rooijendijk, who joins from Belgian club KRC Genk, will be part of the Doetinchem club's squad after the summer. Her football career began at UDI '19 in Uden, where she quickly stood out for her scoring ability. In 2022, she moved to the youth academy of Fortuna Sittard, where she developed rapidly. In March 2024, she made her official debut for Fortuna Sittard in the KNVB Cup against FC Utrecht. Unfortunately, her progress was hampered by an injury. After Fortuna Sittard's relegation, she opted for an adventure at KRC Genk, but now she returns to the Netherlands. Ted Rooijendijk is excited about her move to De Graafschap and looks forward to contributing to the club. She states that the club culture aligns perfectly with her as a player and expresses her ambition and passion for De Graafschap. The club hopes that her arrival will enhance their performance in the Eerste Divisie.
